Privacy Policy

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, and authentication details; information you add to portfolios, journals, or other product features; payment and transaction details from our payment providers; and technical information such as device, browser, IP address, and usage data.

We use information to provide and improve Nepse Edge, authenticate users, process purchases, personalize features, respond to support requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, communicate service updates, and comply with legal obligations.

We may share information with service providers that support hosting, analytics, authentication, communications, payments, and customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand product usage, and protect the service. You can control cookies through your browser, though some features may not work correctly without them.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure.

You may update certain account information within the service. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to identity verification and any legal record-retention requirements.

Nepse Edge is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Connecting Nepse Edge to ChatGPT authorizes us to return the data needed for your requests to OpenAI. This can include holdings, cost basis, transaction history, portfolio performance and risk metrics, saved screeners, strategies, and trading journal entries. Market tools return prices, fundamentals, and indexed news or disclosures. The connection does not place investment trades or change your portfolio records.

We process the tool arguments ChatGPT sends, rather than requesting your full ChatGPT conversation. OAuth uses your account identifier, authorization scopes, tokens, and consent records. With your consent, OpenAI can retrieve your email and verification status to enforce workspace domain restrictions. Do not include passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or health information in tool requests.

We use this information to authenticate the connection and answer your requests. Recipients include OpenAI and our hosting and infrastructure providers. Complex dynamic analysis may also send the task-specific question and approved analysis context to our AI processing provider; it writes temporary caches and operational logs. The chart widget loads a charting library from unpkg.com, which receives the associated network request. OpenAI's handling of information returned to ChatGPT is governed by your OpenAI account settings and its privacy policy.

Access tokens expire after one hour. Refresh tokens expire after one year unless renewed or revoked earlier. These are validity periods; expired authorization records may remain stored under the retention criteria in section 5. Private dynamic-analysis result caches expire after 30 seconds. Disconnecting does not delete your Nepse Edge account, portfolio, journal, or copies already returned to ChatGPT.

You can disconnect the app in ChatGPT settings and contact info@nepseedge.com to request revocation or deletion of connection records and account data. An already-issued access token may remain valid for up to one hour. Removing information already stored in ChatGPT requires using OpenAI's data controls separately.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
